I feel like the idea most people are trying to achieve, the "technijia" look. Apologizes for using the term, but there's more to techwear than this. Can we focus on a broader scope?

Of course

Cool, I don't feel like I should look like a hacker everyday. What brands do you recommend?
>>
>>11454079
I don't have a lot of experience with brands like this, but Uniqlo and Outlier. So naturally I can only recommend them. Uniqlo is pretty cheap compared to other brands, but you as much functionality compared to other brands. They might cover the basics like heat retention, breathable, and water durability and repellency. If I had to recommend something right now to grab will be the Uniqlo x Theory collaboration.

Can't speak for those, but I've had decent experience with the Adios Boost series. They're good shoes for 5k runs, but your feet will begin to hurt with runs upwards of 10k.

If you're interested in Nike shoes, the Lunarracer provides great comfort and lightness, but suffers from the lack of long-term durability on the outsole.

Techwear is all about being functional, making life easier, and minimal. We all see this in our fits, but what about the little things. I'm very interested in everyday gadgets that can makes ones life easier. Things to watches, water canisters, and even key chains. Post what you got.

Yeah, actually I'm inclined to agree that collapsible water bottles are much more tech-y than all that fuck huge shiny ass metal barrels.
I mean, they really take so less space which is really convenient when you are travelling or low on space.
Can't find any sane reason why all that metal bottles are so popular now except for the looks.

Hard shell (or a soft shell made from something like schoeller dry skin) and some decent shoes, pants are a pain the arse to find and on that front I think the best way to sort out pants would be to get something made of cotton that you like the fit off and then coat it with nikwax. A diy approach to items may be needed

I have a bellroy (card sleeve - older version) and it's FANTASTIC once the leather breaks in. Can easily keep up to 3-5 bills in it depending on how many cards I have. The quick card function is a bit tricky until the leather breaks in though. The newer one in their web shop seems to have addressed any issues I have with mine.
>>
>>11464709

Any recs for some decent trail shoes? Going camping in a month and could use some durable (preferably water proof/resistant) shoes. I'm also starting to get into urban exploration, so I would like something that can work into a regular, urban fit.

Looking at these right now. Not the best, but reasonably priced and somewhat fits the aesthetic.
>>
>>11469695
Asian brands generally use one size fits all because they like oversized fits and aren't too particular.

0608 is like Guerrilla Group, where they will use some decent waterproof materials but nothing too great - once you get it in real life you will understand that you won't get what you pay for.

>>11469872
