I have this guy's exact hair, except maybe a little thicker. Some product makes my hair turn into straw, any recommendation for something that won't dry my shit out too much?

I tried out garnier but it has a weird after odor, Paul Mitchell is pretty good

I have thick hair and water based wax works pretty good I mix a little bit of clay on the sides to hold down the shorter hair
