Priority lows are better for a beater shoe. They look almost exactly like AF1 lows but you can get them for insanely low prices. I got my pair for $10 and have been fine after 6 months of daily use. Also the heel feels a little more comfortable desu

They are the GOAT shoe for the aging and yellowing of the soles, and to a lesser extent the rest of the shoe.
I have a pair and I wear them all the time
Don't buy new ones, get a pair for $10 at a thrift store, my friends and I all found pairs for around that price. Then you won't care about them

this. i always buy my beaters at the thrift store. ive absolutely run a pair of chucks ragged, but they were $11 (honestly, thats a little steep for a piece of canvas with some rubber on it) so who cares.
my problem is that i just always start wearing my beaters everywhere because they are comfy and i get used to them. my new years resolution for the past like four years has been to wear my other shoes more often.
