What do you mean by "starving"? The actual starvation or a radical cal intake cut? If first, you will damage your internal organs badly and die. The second option is known as "crash diet". It's pretty effective if you have enough willpower. I've lost 15 kilos in 1,5 months with it eating literaly 500 cal per day (tuna, seaweed, vegetables, chicken) and running 3-4 kilometers at 8-9 kmph.

I'm currently doing this, and failing and doing it again. Once I get the 1500 cal max a day down ( getting closer every day ) and completely cut out soft drinks/fast food I'll be good to go.

I usually go a whole day without eating almost anything then probably one more. After that my chubby cheeks go away, which is my goal. Then the plan is to eat only 1500 cals a day so it stays that way.

I've succeeded and failed at this numerous times already but I'm getting closer! ( I look really cute without my chubby cheeks.. I look like a GRILL )

I lost 30 lbs back in my first year of high school. It's a lot easier when you're still in your teen years, but I cut down my calorie intake to 1000-1500 per day (for reference I was 5'2" at the time) and jogged 3-4 times a week. Reached my goal in about 4-5 months I think.

I'm also losing weight right now on a similar plan, but I don't do cardio as frequently (about twice a week). I hope to lose at least 10 pounds and get down to around 115-119 pounds. I've lost about 4 pounds so far over the span of a month.

Dropping weight too fast will only bite you in the ass later, and can fuck up your body for the long term. Don't be part of that statistic where those who lost weight just gained it all back and then some.

I was anorexic years ago and I deeply regret it. Starving is stupid. If you want to be skelle you just eat a low number of calories over a long period of time and slowly get to be thin.

I'm 5' 10" manlet and eat around 1800kcal per day, hardly starving, and only weigh 137lbs. I'm not super active either, just a plane ol' wageslave.

Basically if you are somewhere in the normal height range male you can just eat like 1700kcal for a while to lose weight, it will slow as you get lower, and then slloowwly get skelle without worrying about killing yourself.

Starving won't leave you /fa/ skinny. Your body will go into ketosis and it will start catabolizing your muscles as well as your fat. The fat you have on your liver will go first, and that you won't even see on the outside, then your muscle tone will drop, then your subdermal fat and the last thing to go will be your "love handles" and/or gut.

Once you stop "starving" and eating, you'll bounce that weight right back up and the fat cells with blossom because the body will be in a state of shock from malnutrition/starving.

When its all said and done, you'll just end up skinny fat. Weak arms and a pouch gut.

Just start exercising.

Dont listen to these fags. I did. I ate once a day and ran like 1 hour a day on a treadmill. My meal didnt include any carbs or sugars. Just meat and some vegetables. No fruits . You can drink coke zero and coffee , just dont add sugar. Or do intermittent fasting.

when i started losing weight, all i did was cut out sodas and stop eating cookies and shit at lunch. that combined with my moderately relaxed workout (maybe half hour a day a few times a week) was enough for me to start losing weight. then i just increased everything.

I don't know what you mean by starving OP. I'm 23 and have very slow metabolism that enables me to build tissue (fat or muscle) very quickly. 2 months ago I was 257 lbs with 195 cm, I'm now about 223. It's a relatively quick progression, this is the third time I'm doing this in my life. I'm painfully hungry quite often, but I don't care anymore. I eat a banana for breakfast, some canned fish and cottage cheese with a slice of brown bread for lunch and something similar for dinner, maybe an omelette or sometimes I go for a kebab. Add a few things like veggies or more of the same during the day but this is my core diet. I've also cut alcohol for the most part. Make sure to move as well every day you can. I started with pushups, then transitioned to jogging/running, the point is to burn calories and keep your muscles occupied. Also, expect it to slow down after a while. Never stop, just climb through the plateaus, they will end. Increase movement or decrease food intake if it happens. It also helps a lot not to eat after 6, or at least not right before going to sleep.

It doesn't come back like everyone says. I've gained the weight I've lost the previous 2 timess again but mainly gradually during holiday seasons. But then again, there are different frames and different metabolisms OP. What worked for me might be totally shit for you and vice versa.

I stay lean year-round, pic related. I've experimented with just about everything, and I wouldn't recommend starving yourself. Do intermittent fasting with an 18-hour fast, 6-hour eating window, with a deficit of around 600 calories. Also, do high-intensity interval training with either skip-rope, running, or rowing. Try to lift weights, strength training really does up your metabolism. Best of luck.
