They're ugly, but they're the only watches worth using for actual "beater" applications. More expensive plastic/quartz watches have no edge in terms of durability or function but can cost hundreds more.
The only effay way I can think to wear one is the old-school rectangular model in some sort of retro/vaporwave fit.
G-Shock + crisp blue jeans + cheap tucked-in dress shirt + glasses/sunglasses = effay
