Hey /fa/gs, I'll move to the UK next year for study and I'm still undecided on what laptop to buy (I don't play games) and also I'm gonna need a backpack too. Portability is key so I was thinking about a Macbook Air and maybe a black Jansport but fuck, I really dont know.

A Macbook air will work in a lot of circumstances, and I say that being a guy who owns a damn heavy-ass 17" Thinkpad. Most engineering applications I'm aware of have now been ported to Mac in some form or fashion.
The new MacBook for macs and an XPS 13 or razer blade stealth for PC.
For bags, get a milsurp bag with lots of pockets or go yohji
