OK, listen to me. I've been through rogaine, finasteride, nugene, and two different types of transplants. Here's what you want to do:
1. Cut your hair really short. That will minimize the contrast between the dense and thin areas.
2. Save up for NeoGraft. This is the procedure where a computer automatically "harvests" single follicles from a large area in a sort of random pattern so that the thinning is undetectable. Then the surgeon drops the single follicles into your balding area. It's expensive, like $6,000 to $9,000. But it's worth it because the results are permanent and it's the best looking option.
3. Try PRP (platelet rich plasma) therapy after that. This is where they draw your blood, centrifuge it and then inject the blood cell-rich part into your scalp. You go every once in a while. Should stop you from losing more hair. Believed to promote new growth but I'm skeptical.
