There was a short while where they were cool because a lot of actual old historic sculptures are based, but it's been so fucking overdone by everyone and their fuccboi bf's it's shit now. Actual sculptures are cool, using them as an accessory is not.

For the record all the sculptures used for vaporwave all those 'aesthetic' things are ancient greek sculptures and this is a Rodin Sculpture from the 1800s
