I really want to get a denim jacket but I can't decide between unlined or sherpa lined. What do you guys think?
Choose depending on the climate of where you live

Extreme heat in the summer, extreme cold in the winter. I'm leaning more towards sherpa lined right now because I like the look but idk if it's as versatile as an unlined jacket or if I'll have as much opportunities to wear it.

Get both. Although if you can only get one get the regular one since you can just put on a hoodie under to be warm and look good.
Sherpa is underappreciated imo. Gives a similar silhouette to a bomber in the shoulders & collar
There isn't really a comparison between the two anyway. unlined is a completely different item, worn more like an overshirt than a jacket. You should be considering sherpa vs. a bomber jacket.

Personally I'm not a big fan of bomber jackets but your post was insightful though and I see what you mean but the reason I'm deciding between these two is because I really like the casual and relaxed look of denim and I feel like trying to pull off some Canadian tuxedo type outfits.

if you don't want both, get the unlined
for extreme cold in winter you may want a longer jacket, your ass will freeze off even in any regular denim jacket

Yes like this guy said, get both. I just have a sherpa one and it's really only good for winter. still a great jacket, don't pay over $30 and make sure to get a vintage Levi's made in USA.
Opinions on this pocket and collar style for sherpa lined jackets?

Would you mind posting some fit pics if you have any?

cool as fuck get that one

Does yours have nylon interior sleeves or is that sherpa too?

>sherpa lined
It will drastically reduce the amount of fits you can have with the denim jacket. Go with unlined.
get both
unlined for spring/ summer
sherpa for fall/ winter
