I had dreads for about 6 years. They can look anywhere from really goofy to really cool on a white guy. Some people just do not suit them. I got a ton of positive attention for it and I can honestly say I suited them.
But a previous poster is right, I don't think it's the kind of hairstyle that '/fa/ will approve of, I dont think it can really work with most /fa/ trends.
I have a shaven head now btw
