You'd all come across better if you could actually articulate the problem rather than "I don't like it it's trash".
Her application is fine, it's just not to your tastes because she went for a crisp line. Which is a legitimate application method, just one that makes it look more "makeup" and more stark than a softened lip line.
And the colour is a huge part of the issue. It's the fact it's both too saturated and not high enough contrast with the rest of her face, plus the fact the undertones don't quite seem to gel that's causing the issue. If it was a darker plummy colour with less white in the base it would look a lot better applied in the same method.

I honestly think a lot of it is the shit quality of the photos. It looks much better in person. True the red could be a better shade but I get compliments on the orange very often.

That makes sense. Is it a pretty bright orange irl? Neons with a higher level of white in their base can be shit to get accurate in photos so I'll take your word it looks better in person.
(Though I don't mind it in the pictures. I like obnoxious lipsticks. I was just posting what the issues appear to be from an objective point of view so they might learn even a shred of an idea of what they're trying to go on about)

Also, my lips are naturally uneven so that is what they are seeing.
