I'm a big CS fan and I rock team apparel pretty frequently, most of it subtle enough, and it works out well enough. I have a fnatic hoodie and shirt (heat transfered both myself, just gildan shit), EnvyUS hoodie that I made in the same way, Cloud9 shirt and a Faze logo shirt. They're all low key enough and are good for popping color. Just rock them with jeans or joggers and nice kicks and you're good.
Now, I do have a Navi jersey, and that one's a bit obnoxiously bright yellow, so I really only wear it now and then.

Only if its a simple understated design and is only recognizable to other fans. I think the foxhound logo and a lot of stuff from Metroid are good examples. Triforces and most Mario stuff are bad due to being overly associated with mainstream vidya culture and therefore manchildren.
