Looking for a backpack like pic related, what should I look for? For everyday use, to carry laptop/food/books. Also general backpack inspo

I bought a bag like that from Urban Outfitters a few years ago.
That style is very uncomfortable to me, unless the bag is completely full. If you just have a few items (laptop, a couple of books) it won't hang the way you probably imagine it will (assuming that's something you've thought about)
I would suggest going to REI and finding a small day pack with an internal frame.
Not sure if pic related are still being made, since I got mine on clearance, but I've been very happy with it due to the minimalistic design / small size (22L) and structural integrity.

A lot of cool styles there, thanks for the link.

The way it hangs is actually something I've been considering. They do seem like they'd be really droopy/saggy if there aren't many things in them. You're right that what you posted is probably better in terms of comfort but it doesn't really have the aesthetic I'm looking for. I could take a look at something else with an internal frame more my style though, so thanks for the head's up.
Spent £120 on some no name branded hoodie because it was reduced from £300. It was ugly, fitted shit, had a huge obnoxious tacky tattoo like print and to top it off it had little fucking gem things all over the print, I never returned it yet wore it a max of 5 times

making a habit of forgetting to attach fucking images

Of course not unless it's 30l or something bigger than your back, and even in that case they can be pulled off. Any daypack will look fine. Stop thinking about height all the time (if you do) or you'll never pull anything off

I constantly am thinking about height.
>My sister is 1 inch taller than me
>Won't date anyone who isn't at least her height or taller
It will always be there as long as I know my sister

Your sister is shallow then bud. Plus there's nothing you can actually do about it so stop letting it bother you. I'm only a lanky 5'11 and I don't think it makes me any more or less attractive to any reasonable person.
