I had some Stan Smiths last year and sold them because I fucked up and got the green ones, and because the leather was ugly. If I had worn them for a long time would the leather eventually start looking like the absurdly overpriced but good looking RS x Stan Smith in Aged Leather? Can someone post some pics of their beaten up Stans?

Agreed 100%. RAF leather is truely nicer than premium Stan's. Only pair of Adidas Stand that are as nice are the Made In Germany Stan Smith. That leather is amazing.

No, regular Stan Smiths age horribly.
If you want Raf quality, the closest 'standard' Stan Smith is the style code: D67361. The leather is really supple, they have a nubuck heel tab and they wear in amazingly.

Just copped them, I like the color of the soles, but the material isn't gum, its just some shitty rubber you'll find on any dollar store shoe.
