I only see preppy people wear barbour jackets so I guess they are associated with preppy fits.
Overall I think barbour jackets are good quality and look fairly unremarkably sharp and subtle.
75 is a good deal. Just depends if it suits your style whether that is preppy or not.
Im sure you can use it in other fits but Im doubtful if it works in much else.
