hey /fa/

what are the best name-brand sneakers ($50-$100 range) to wear during long-term standing circumstances, for instance, standing for 4 hours at a concert or even longer at a workplace environment

i currently wear converse, and these absolutely kill my feet even with a thick silicone insole. i always end up with severely blistered feet from standing around for more than 2 hours in converse.

so, what are your recommendations?

pic related, shitty shoes

You get sore wearing them for 2 hours? I don't think it matters what shoe you buy if your feet are that sensitive. I used to work on my feet all day on concrete in converse and had no issue.

My mom has weird feet issues and wears NB. Maybe try those.

Dr Martens are great, especially if you buy second hand worn ones, that way they are cheaper and they won't be stiff for the first month.

I've heard new balances are comfortable

Most guys I know who still work in the service industry STRONGLY recommend running shoes.

That said, running shoes tend to be ugly as hell.

New Balance and Nike Roshe Runs. Roshe Runs are the comfiest shoes iv ever worn.

Converse = stinky feet

New balance.
Or take a look at the shoes that nurses wear.

You might just want to look into work shoes. Most if not all are built for comfort

get a pair of adidas trainers. prob more than a hundred but worth it. or buy reps from aliexpress and save your self some money. vans are pretty comfortable when their broken in too.

I know it seems like I'm shilling, but I'm wearing my cons with one of these right now and the difference is very noticeable (although I've only had them for like a week)

just the regular lace-up vans or the slip-ons? vans are pretty cheap and they look cool (i have never worn vans before but i know tons of people who wear em)

i probably actually need a better insole or maybe my feet are just extremely sensitive

This is so dumb, buy crocs or some running shoes, this thread is honestly probably better suited for /fit/
