I have a Kanken 2, I like it. It's a much nicer feeling material than the regular Kanken in my opinion and it has some nice leather details and stuff.
I think it's a very practical nice looking bag which holds as much stuff as I need and seems to be pretty durable and has held up well for me so far. So I'm happy with it even if most of /fa/ seems to hate it and even if suddenly I'm starting to see it everywhere in the last few months. It easily holds the shit in pic related plus a couple of folders/notebooks and a textbook without getting too bloated.

I wear a muji backpack to class, fits a 13". have it in white and army green. they're like, $30? have a couple stone islands also but they're probably not what you're looking for, and desu, the construction isn't stellar though the look is hot.

You can get them from outdoor / hiking shops during sales. But you know that this is a bag that's been around for decades in the Northern Europe and they really don't need to put them on sale because they've always sold well.
