Well, im kind of a unique case. I know my tattooist personally, and she knows im a broke student, so she only charged me 600AUD for it. But at her standard rate it would have been over 1000.

my mom had a small colored tattoo on her ankle (somewhere that isn't supposed to warp very much with time) that she got in her mid 20s. by 40 it was a barely recognizable blob. the lines were still there but the colors had bled so much that any detail was lost. (btw she didn't gain any weight, she's got a BMI of like 17, probably less.) colors fade like crazy.
