To be honest knockoffs/designer interpretations are almost always better than actual converse, expensive though they are. Anything to get rid of that logo.

chucks are good for lots of casual outfits but if you wanna get more advanced then discard chucks and save.

70's chucks if you're gonna wear chucks.
One Stars are alright now that they re-released the "hairy suede" ones, especially with the comf insole.
Any of the N(N) collabs are great.
There are Missoni collabs that are pretty cool.
I also personally like Weapons, but they're hard to find in good colorways. The new Weapons from N. Hollywood are GOAT. The Facetasm ones are good too.
