Yeah, that sounds about right.
The hardest thing in that book for me to visualize is Villa Straylight (and I'm sure this is on purpose). There really is nothing like that place in any other literature - so convoluted and (as described) like a wasps nest of aesthetics.
I know what it is - Gibson does a very good job of talking about it. Still, since it is so convoluted, I can't seem to get a consistent image in my mind. I guess that was the intent - which it is why it is so memorable.

I think he's human. I also didn't watch the directors cut until recently so I didn't know about the whole 'unicorn memory plant' thing for a long time.
Hampton Francher says he wrote the film with the intention to keep you guessing, but he says that he's human in the end. If empathy is supposed to be what separates the two, he would of retired Rachel and be done with it. That's my thought on it anyway.
Phillip K. Dick also wrote Deckard as human, but Blade Runner is a pretty loose adaptation so I don't think it really matters.

Not really cyberpunk, but can a grill find some use for these high sneakers? With a particular outfit? I just want to hear opinions to help me decide if these shoes can work out and if they are for me. Except from a pair of converse, I don't wear the "sporty" sneakers and usually think them meh, both on myself and other grills, recently I've considered getting NB's since look 50/50 proper/vintage sporty. They are Adidas Officials with the sneaker laces swapped to long brown dress shoe laces.
I think it's cheaper and easier to just get a pair of black Stan Smiths and swap the laces on those. Officials are hard to find.
