How much effort does it take for a tailor to take a jacket like pic related in at the sides?
What would / should such an alteration cost, will it be cheap?

Now that were on the topic of tailoring, where do I find a tailor who can hemm my tapered raw selvedge jeans without fucking up the taper?
Go to a dry cleaner - they might have better prices and most of them do alterations.
