Also the Roulette model of the Kuru Toga makes me happy. The whole spinning design sounds stupid but unlike most other mechanical pencils, I've never had the lead break on me with this.

I did the same thing. The nib came all the way off. But I fixed it by grinding down the second metal part at an angle and now it's way more durable and basically indestructible. Don't have to worry about fucking up the tip.
