i never do anything to my boots and get compliments on their worn in beat up look, they look more worn now than this pic but still. In my opinion dirty footwear can look good but it has to be from wear, theres a difference between it being dirty because youve rocked them for a year+ and them being dirty because you just stepped in a pile of shit and are lazy

I don't like it, either. Shoes with reasonable wear (but no holes) can look great, but as soon as they become dirty and/or ripped up, I find them repulsive.
