Am I way too fat to be /fa/?

What style would fit my body
>>
>>11128786
I don't think so. You can't do a lot of different styles discussed here a lot, but I think muscular/bigger people can pull of Rick really well. Plus you'll look good in formal wear when you have places to go that aren't accepting of avant garde sick fits.
>>
>>11128796

What about something like Henley's for casual wear
>>
full rick is the only choice
>>
>>11128804
henleys lool to americana or whatever, i think drapey but not too long crew neck tees lool best, loose pants etc. also an understated rick or even yohji looks can look prettt dope. look up mrchariybrown he was a sufu guy who was very muscular, he's in the top 1% of powerlifters now so he kinda doesn't give a fuck anymore but he pulled off rick really well
>>
>>11128786
>fishing for people to say "you're not fat man you're muscular!"
get fucked
>>
>>11128828

C'mon man, I'm not even big by normie standards.

6' 175 11% bodyfat trying to drop to single digits for summer

You could try Shiacore Anon
>>
Im similar to op, more fit inspo is appreciated
>>
>>11128901
Why do people suggest shiacore for bigger guys? It's just jeans and t-shirt
>>
why is the camera at 2'
>>
>>11128998
I think the shoes he wears with it play a massive role, they compliment his body type really well
>>
Is this bait? You're one of the few here who actually can be eff ayy. All these lanklets who yet have to grow out of puberty circlejerk the skelly ideal because they're never gonna make it and are in denial about how almost all male models are /fit/ (for a reason).
>>
>>11128836
>6' 175 11% bodyfat

No one thinks this is fat. Not even /fit/ thinks 11% bf is fat and not even /fa/ thinks 6' 175 is fat. You can't wear skinny jeans without looking like an idiot. Whatever.

loool, not the good ones
stop posting and stop thinking that your shitty calvin klien models are fashionable
>>
>>11129177
*almost all

Of course there are male models who are not /fit/ and if you think they're more aesthetic, that's like your opinion. It's however certainly not the opinion of, well, almost everyone.

>stop posting and stop thinking that your shitty calvin klien models are fashionable
Protip: Standards of beauty are defined by society, by real world fashion communities, not by circlejerks on the internet like /fa/.
>>
>>11129188
>real world fashion communities

not defending /fa/ because this place is a teenage shit hole, but internet fashion communities have been influencing actual fashion trends for years.
>>
>>11129199
Yeah, true.
>>
>>11129188
yes and real world fashion communites know that brands like calvin klien, ralph lauren, tommy hilfiger etc havent dont anything remotely interesting in the fashion world for years
>>
>>11129204
I don't think you're quite understanding what I am getting at. To the vast majority of people, be it in society or the fashion world, it does not matter that there is a subset of male models who are skinny and not /fit/, but perhaps wear the most fashionable clothes. I do not disagree that especially young and upcoming male models in the Paris fashion week for example are more often lanklets than not. But that literally does not matter when we are comparing it to the vast majority of models who are /fit/. What does matter is that the majority of male models are /fit/ and are actually seen by the majority of people, are considered (more) attractive and (more) aesthetic by the majority of people.

I mean, of course you can be a lanklet and dress like some 17 yo twink who is at his first fashion show, and I am sure it can look aesthetic, but I highly doubt it. Because you're not actually that 17 yo upcoming male model, you're just some teenage boy from a small US suburb who looks awkward as fuck.
>>
>>11129247
and the way most people are dressed on here isnt supposed to appeal to the majority of people, its a niche thing (and no im not talking about garbage internet trends like palewave)
sure maybe in the clothes the majority of people are wearing, the models are /fit/, but amongst actual respected designer brands in the fashion industry, they arent
also if youre talking about looking like a healthy active person, then yes i somewhat agree with you, but everytime you keep mentioning /fit/, the picture that comes into my mind is gym junkies like OP
also stop using the word aesthetic improperly, you sound like a retard who has spend too much time on the internet
>>
>>11129303
correction, i shouldnt say dressed on here because most people on here dress like garbage
i should say actual fashionable people
>>
>>11129177
But this looks like shit
>>
>>11129826
except it doesnt, and the vast majority of the fashion industry would disagree with you
those pants are to die for

Rick Owens. Avant Garde designer with a very unique style.

Rick himself is passionate about lifting and has a unique philosophy on clothes and aesthetics.

what do you mean by this? What about the boots compliments what about his body type?

Asking cause I'm ex-military and have started wearing my old garrison boots like this (pants tucked into socks tucked into boots) since I got out, but I've always been curious if I'm the only one that thinks it looks good on me.

Go Greek-god-summer-core <3
>>
>>11128828
this tobehonestfam

Seriously this is shallow as fuck, just own up to the fact that you are decently fit, and ask /fa/ for tips on how to dress for your body type. This isn't a fucking hugbox

>6' 175 11% bodyfat trying to drop to single digits for summer
>11% bodyfat
>abs become visible starting at ~12%
>trying to claim you're "fat"

Seriously OP, all you have accomplished is letting us all know that you have a narcissistic superiority complex founded in the insecurities that persisted after getting fit didn't magically have women falling into your lap.

Get some humility and come back when you can make a thread that isn't arrogant as fuck.
>>
>>11130548
nah ive got compliments on it. ive got some muscle but also a more fat than the OP. i think i carry it well though. i would do it with flannels and big jackets during the winter.
the boots and socks thing is borderline played out now though. not that it looks bad, just that its pretty much something you dont even notice anymore.
itll make you look more 'rugged' or whatever than trainers or something. so dont do it with slacks or an ocbd or something or it might look kind of funky
>>
>>11128786
Boris Bidjan Saberi or literally any avantgarde designer, cmon dont act like one of these whiney /fit/ faggots who are too "big" for all the clothes and their thighs explode from every jeans at 6' and 180 lbs or whatever.

I am 6'3 and 210 lbs and have no problem finding clothes that fit except that a lot of avantgarde designer only produce very little amounts of XL sized clothing.
>>
>>11128786
just dont go for SLP core and you are fine
>>
>>11131548
Basically this
Fashion as a concept revolves around pandering to people who need clothes to look good.
The general philosophy therein is that if you're fit, you don't need clothes to look good, so you're less inclined to explore fashion, and thus production lines wont make a lot of clothes aimed at your size.
Most countries where they're developed aren't home to large amounts of fat people, so there's also no XL needed in that regard.

So >>11128786 OP
You're probably not thin enough to be /fa/, but you're not too fat to be hot.
>>
>>11132803
luckily i am not fat but not totally ripped either, would gues about 14-15% bodyfat at 210 lbs. my jeans size for example is 32
>>
>>11128786
Dirk Bikkembergs. His fashion is manly as fuck. Focuses on sportswear and is one of the Antwerp six.

You definitely have more potential than most people on this board. Especially if you lift.
