People can have many reasons. It could be the retail markup because of the designer is too high, the resell price too high,it's simply unavailable for sale or people just want to save money and buy clothes they like.

Generally do not bother with fakes for high priced items below $50 unless it's a rep of some cheap item like a hat or beanie. The picture of the UNHS SP (Super perfect) Supreme box logo hoodie is about $80 while the retail price is $148 reselling at $200 to $300. For shoes, there are unauthorized (UA) that are for the same factory, same materials but stolen from factory or were made "unauthorized" often with slight defects. A lot of replicas are very good quality but of course will not be a perfect 1:1 unless it's a truly simple item.

Copped this off Aliexpress for about £7. Ignore how creased it is in the photos, I've not been bothered to iron it since I've washed it.
Went into a department store to compare and all of the tags/stitching/sizing were nearly identical. Quality seems good as well.

It was screen printed on with water based inks like the genuine CDG tshirts. It's not some shit plastisol or heat transfer print.

Highs. They're very good quality. I think the shape is off slightly on the heel, but not so much that it's noticeable.
The build quality and comfort is the main reason I bought from them. Everyone focuses too much on likeness, instead of how well the reps hold up and how comfortable they are.
