I've literally only ever liked two things ive seen at H&M, one being something I wore two years ago.
Now that I feel like my horizons are much broader in regards to fashion, it surprises me to see H&M bags being toted around by some men that I know that are somewhat successful, and some would consider generally fashionable.
All of the fabrics are quick to gather lint, dust, animal hair etc. That is what I think. I dont like the construction either. I think the concept work is good, but the follow through and the production just ruins all of their stuff.

Din't get me wrong, I'm pretty broke and don't have money for actual designer clothing myself, but the reason I hate h & m as opposed to Gap and Uniqlo or w/e is because it constantly tries to be something it's not. It tries to be a high end memeninja fashion one season, it tries to be a streetwear brand another season, and it tries to be a prep brand another season. It just jumps on trends (often a little too late) in order to get as much revenue as it can.
I understand it's not the only brand that does this, but I think it should find another niche in the fast fashion world thats not just pathetic trendhopping. At least a brand like uniqlo does this and just sticks with what it does best, producing nice basics with a good quality to price ratio, although it does that whole "japanese technology" shpeal to sell more.
