To me it's just simpler to get mostly black wardrobe, I can just throw whatever on and it will look okay, can't be assed to match colors or wear certain outfits different days because the colors only work with those specific pieces.
I'm also aiming towards smaller wardrobe in general so simple color palette or lack of one helps.
