high street brands like acne, apc, april 77 are incredibly overpriced for the most part. and a lot of their stuff is made in eastern europe and asia.
for the same price point you could get something from AMI, Our Legacy, A Kind of Guise, Patrik Ervell, Stephan Schneider etc.
But it really depends what kind of style you even like.

this pretty much. I really like vintage stuff, especially bombers and windbreakers but I also enjoy tracksuits.
I like Aspesi jackets in that price-range. They usually have nice bombers and M65 field-jackets for ~$500 or less.
For sweaters I really love Drumohr. Very good quality and their cashmere sweaters aren't as expensive as brands like B. Cucinelli, Fedeli etc.
