>glued soles
>not recommended for heavy use, will wear down quickly if you beat them too hard
>kinda pricy depending on where you find them but good price for desert boots
If you actually plan to use them for heavy outdoor use often get the American something brand with the stiched soles
They look cooler at first blush. I personally would be afraid I'd feel stupider and stupider in them with each subsequent wear.

They're ok in general but tend to cause blisters when walking with a pack. They don't look that bad when wearing your jeans tucked into them with thick socks and a parka.

Honestly you can buy a pair for like 50-80 bucks on ebay. Why pay retail.
Anyway, mine came in today, very nice, super comfy. They're just as flexible and versatile as they look. Would recommend if you can find for <100.

4 months though should be nothing for a boot in actual use. Like I'm pretty sure the other military boots are supposed to last for years and these obviously wont. Love mine to death but they are definitely not built to do anything besides walking around, just dont expect to hike in these a lot.
