Not just browsing /fa/ but getting interested in fashion in general. I find a lot more people "attractive" in a sort of unique way contrary to what /fa/ memes about the perfect body or facial physique.

I have a more nuanced understanding of what I like and why
I went through a period where I did a bunch of weird no poo strategies for my hair that ended up damaging it pretty badly, but it's a learning experience
I'm able to judge people much richer than I am very harshly, but I also end up wishing I had more dosh

Developed a more Nietzschean philosophy. I feel more free, wild. Nothing will stop me be who I'm am. I will do the things I love doing regardless if people think it's off place. I'm the only not similar looking person my town and the residents think I'm foreign and take special interest in me because of that. Seriously.

/fa/ is how I pretend to be social when working 14+ hours a day. The faux-social aspect of this site has honestly probably kept me from blowing my brains out from loneliness or whatever.
It really hasn't changed my style all that much. I've always done just okay (i.e. middle-of-the-road) in that regard, though I find learning about the topic fascinating.
