I would. Canvas is a lot easier to pull off, and although leather looks better canvas will leave you with a lot less sweaty feet at the end of the day. Plus canvas is cheaper

Ramones are a bit more low key. I prefer them - geos are chunkier and combined with pods can make you look like a child even if you are tall. I still do it though.
