Same. I'm really starting to get into these type of shirts. Right now, I've got a very loud red white and blue floral design, and two dark navy/black shirts with tamer blue, white, and grey flowers stretching around. One shirt's got the design at the bottom, and one has it all around spaced out.
I think it can be /fa/, they're really the nicest shirt to wear in some atmospheres. In Hawaii, it's formalwear, but for other places, it's best in warm situations outside or inside spring parties.

Not true. Hawaiian shirts are very /fa/, they're not just for 'fat people'.
But the pattern and fit has to be high quality, doesn't have to be a slim fit, just not so billowy you could fit 2 people in it.
