I just got a new business casual job and I start on tuesday. This is the first time ive ever had to wear business casual. I bought the basics, navy blue and black pants, 5 different button up shirts (1 white, 1 blue, 1 blue patterned, 1 dark red, and 1 dark blue) and a nice simple black watch. I still need shoes, though I got by with my adidas zx flux in my 2 interviews.
What else do I need, what kind of shoes should I buy, and general business casual office job inspo thread

How versatile are brown shoes? And should I tuck in my shirt? like pic related? I think it looks better untucked
>>
>>11004491
1. very
2. then it's just casual
>>

I would need to know more the nature of your job but in general you should be tucking it in. I work in a business casual environment that is pretty lax a lot of the time on dress code but most people still have their shirts tucked in.

definitely tuck in the shirt in an office environment.

But since you wore running shoes to your apparently successful job interviews I dont really know anymore.

No.

It's only stupid when people wear extremely formal blazers with jeans. You're stupid.

I've only done informal blazers with dark wash jeans, light wash or faded jeans look awful with blazers unless they're INCREDIBLY casual (like a washed cotton). I find that hiding the denim hardware with a higher waisted fit or double breasted jacket seems to help.
