Opinions?
>>

Neither, they're both ugly and shit.

At least look for decent brands that produce ties like Drake's, Viola Milano, E.Marinella, Berg&Berg etc.

My very bydlo uncle (who's now in jail for money laundering) used to wear these.

Don't do this.

Oh i thought they looked quite smart, opinions on pic related? Saville Row tie ive got
>>
>>11002045
why would you do that?
do you get paid to advertise the brand?
>>
>>11002083
Are those military or club colors?
>>
>>11002123
Cause i think that pattern actually looks quite nice as a tie, i agree when people have the check pattern on stuff like wellies its stupid, but i thought these werent too "IM WEARING BURBERRY"
>>
>>11002130
Military or club colours? Im lost, either its a joke and its gone straight over my head or I'm not as effay as I thought I was
>>
>>11002132
it's a nice pattern, but you could only wear it somewhere nobody has ever heard about burberry to avoid the connotations.
>>
>>11002137
True, might go nice with like white shirt and cardigan done up enough so that the knot and a bit of the tie is showing to keep the tie as a bit more of a subtle player in the fit
>>
>>11002136
Those stripes usually go on regimental or club ties.
There are so many different clubs and frats, not to mention the actual military regs, that someone is just bound to use your pattern too, it could lead to amusing mistakes.
>>
>>11002142
Oh i see, no it's just a striped tie I quite liked in tk maxx. I have too much saville row stuff from tk maxx; I could legit assemble a decent looking fit (somewhat subjective) consisting largely of about 8 different saville row items haha

Personally I hated striped ties, to me they scream 'sleazy car salesman'. And I'm not a big fan of such slim ties either.

If you don't have a lot of ties yet, I'd go for plain ones right now: navy, grey, dark brown, burgundy, dark green.
>>
>>11002147
By ye olde time rulee, anybody finding you wearing his colors without any right, would feel entitled to cut your tie off below the knot.

You could go all fashion-forward, and cut it yourself, to signal you don't mean any offense to whomever uses that tie as an uniform.

I opt for slimmer ties as i'm 6'2" (master race) and i'm skinny so i feel the tie shape suits my body shape better, and yeah i really want to get some muted palette solid ties and i want a couple knitted ties too but not sure what knitted ones to get (pic related would pair well with some yeezy tan 350 boosts amirite ;) )

Look, just because something is from a famous place like Savile Row doesn't automatically make it good or good-looking. The tie you posted is absolutely shit and doesn't even belong on a kid wearing it to prom at some backwater high school.

If you want some more "fun" ties, go for knit/grenadine ones.

>>11002176
Knit ties are usually slimmer, and that's okay. But for regular ties, especially for someone your size, I'd go for 8cm - at the very least not below 7cm, cause it looks faggy and retarded.

But what if i do mean offense?

And >>11002186
I know that, im not fucking 12, but it just so happens that i go to tk maxx fairly often cause i live near one and you can find some decent garms at decent prices sometimes. And theres been a number of times where ive seen a garment or item by saville row that a) I like b) i think feels decent quality and c) was at a decent price
I dont just run around buying brands cause i think "if people know them theyve gotta be good"
>>
>>11002191
I like this one
>>
>>11002205
>But what if i do mean offense?
You'll get your tie cut, and possibly defenestrated too, if applicable.

At least then it wouldnt be cut out of fear and submission
>>
>>11002205
Well I'm sorry, but the two ties that you've posted so far (Savile Row one and the Burberry ones) have been major shit.

>>11002213
A bottle green grenadine tie is a staple. Can't go wrong with it.

Also, make sure to buy a plain navy cashmere tie. It works in just about any situation and always looks good.
>>
>>11002223
Admirable courage, but with such a proud hearth why aren't you earning your own colors, instead of wearing someone else's?
>>
>>11002226
I understand why you think those two ties are shit tier but two ties arent an accurate representation of my taste haha
And will do

>>11002230
They arent someone elses until someone comes along to me and says 'hey thats my tie" and cuts it clean off (prefferably with a weaboo sword for effect)
>>
>>11002247
Fair enough, anon.

Mind posting your entire collection? It'd be much easier to point you in the right direction if we'd know what you already have and what you could possibly complement your collection with.
