I was going to have a man bun (the top knot undercut type), I went to barber and shortened the sides, but I don't feel like this kind of haircut suits me. What shall I do? My hair is totally a mess right now, hair on top is like 13 centimeters long, on sides like 2 milimeters.

Don't fall for the buzzcut meme, it looks horrible. The only people that get buzzcuts are model-tier guys (who'd look good with any haircut), people that went to jail and complete retards.

If you want a decent man bun you gotta grow your hair out, but you need sharp/masculine facial features to pull it off.

If you want a long top short sides go for the classic undercut, man. It looks good on literally anyone, as long as it's a classy one (i.e. not too short sides or too long top).
