Any brits here order from Grailed? how do you feel about VAT? I was told by a seller I didn't have to pay it as they were used goods but I just got a letter charging me £36 to import a £110 item.
you have to pay VAT depending on the declared value. you should've told the seller to mark the value down really low so that you wouldn't have to pay anything. I always tell the seller to do this.

Thats probably because the seller wrote the actual price down, and maybe he didn't mark it as a gift. i always make sure the seller puts something like $50 on the form so i don't get hit by customs.
