Price can have incredibly little to do with the quality of a fit. To an extent of course, more expensive clothes tend to be cut better from better materials and designed better, but without the taste and sense to put pieces together properly, you're always going to look terrible regardless of how much money you have to throw at your wardrobe.
There's nothing impressive about wearing expensive outfits. There is something impressive about wearing good outfits.
