I have a full body mirror but tons of stuff that I wear look fine in the mirror and only bad in photos
Its likely because your mirror flips your image, so your brain gets used to that image, but a Photo ia not flipped and it looks bad to you for that reason. Or something like that f.am

Simple tip from someone who was super fat and is slowly getting smaller. In fact this applies to everyone of every body type:
If it can, make it bend. Cocking your head, bending an elbow. Leaning to one side, staggering feet. raising an arm.
All these things help with the illusion and are the keys to being photogenic. Problem is if you still have crappy skin. RIP me
