Supreme, SSUR, XLARGE, Stüssy, Obey, etc were all just trying to mimic the same idea used by big fashion houses
Make obnoxious graphic tees that require zero thought to manufacture as a big fuck you to those big companies and prove that people are stupid enough to pay a premium for something they perceive to be exclusive, attention grabbing, and trendy
