rust, internals are shot omegas weren't waterproof back then. that's right it was such a cheap watch the cases did not include a $0.50 o-ring avalible on most timex hand wind spirit models

but here is some great news

old omegas will never be and were never worth money

they were priced just above timex before the japanese watches came along

so going to the searsmenshop and buying an omega seamaster was something you could do as table busser

if they stayed where they were in the market you would be asking should i get a skagen, seiko5 or omega seamaster or save up for an orient.
