How to remove lining that is comin out of the jacket? I tried

How to remove lining that is comin out of the jacket? I tried lint roller or to brush it, it kinda helped but it's not perfect. The jacket has never been to dry cleaner or a washing machine. The lining is polyester and the ouside is cotton.
Any solutions or tips for my problem?
Also clothes care/cleaning general.
