I don't think real /fa/ people are asking for anybody else opinion. They have their own idea and vision of fashion.
I can only think of two reasons:
1. You're new to fashion and trying to get advice
2. You're looking for self-validation [though, that ties in with 1]
At some point, you just have to wear what you like and not ask people on here if it's acceptable.
