Opinions on Alexander Mcqueen? Is it any good?

This, the runway stuff is still pretty decent, but the ready-to-wear stuff is mostly awful. Yes, McQueen liked birds but it's stale to have either that or the skull printed on all the garments.
Read and look up runway shows from his peak when he was alive though. Not all collections were a massive success but most of them were amazing in my opinion.
His lifestory is quite interesting aswell, growing up in a working-class family with no realy link to fashion. He made himself and did some rebellious shit.
