I bought this jansport backpack
How do I give it a distressed worn look with actual months or years of wear?
Get it wet then toss it around while pulling and stretching it
Hang it over a chair and load it up with heavy textbooks or whatever. As for the distressed look toss it around outside I guess and leave it in the sun.

go on a hike in a desert type environment, throw it on the ground a lot and get it all sweaty. then come home and wash it
what you wanna do is just put it on then go out to the nearest busy road, lay down on your back and push yourself down the concrete with your feet. Should be done pretty quick, good luck

OP LEAVE it in a bucket of water and in the sun for 2 weeks, and it will fade.
leave it in a bucket of bleach in the sun for 2 weeks heavy damage
