Ay there /fa/. I've got a costume party soon and I plan on doing something pretty simple.
Can anyone with experience cutting up t-shirts explain to me exactly how I could get a shirt to look like pic related? It's not exactly as simple as just chopping off the sleeves. Thanks in advance.

Use a thicker tshirt, those cut offs are often made with sweat shirts. You can also get a shirt that's a size up and just cut it at the arm seams since that's about where they sit on an over sized shirt. Cut off less that you think you'll need to at first and adjust accordingly. It's simple enough that athletes who have suffered multiple head injuries can figure it out.

Np looking closer at the pic I'm pretty sure it's made out of a thinner crew neck sweatshirt. You can thrift one that would work pretty easily or just buy a cheap ass Hanes or gildan or something.
