I'm going to Milan soon and I could do with knowing the must visit shops. Are there places to get peices from previous seasons dirt cheap?

which part are you living?
start with the following museums: museo del prado, thyssen, reina sofia.
there are lots of somewhat hipster bars and boutiques around Malasaña and Fuencarral street. also lots of sneaker shops in that area (if you're into that stuff).
you could check out el rastro (flea market) on sunday mornings, it's around la latina/embajadores
walk all along gran vía and get to colón, also paseo de la castellana - paseo del prado and calle segovia - calle mayor - calle alcalá are pretty areas to walk thru.
night life is great. weather is okay although it's been cold and rainy for a week now, but it'll get better
if you want to know anything else, just ask. i'll be back after the real madrid - roma game.
