Hey /fa/ I've wondered for some time what 'style' vaporwave clothing would be. I thought maybe;
>90s
>california skater
>with some Japanese street style
Thoughts?
Generic office worker clothes and a soulless but enthusiastic smile.
inspo
Holographic print would also be pretty /fa/

nikes look pretty slick

this (maybe even thom brown)
or maybe a fast food restaurant uniform, worn badly. something that a person working at a fucking indoor mall (lol) would be wearing.
Bucket hat and wind breaker

Thom Browne wouldn't work, too expensive and too much thought put into it, it would have to be office wear reminiscent of tech companies and e-Asia.
I thought Issey Miyake stuff would work with it in a weird way too.
80s and 90s California-core
Metropolis techwear
Vibrant streetwear
Grey suits
something like this or probably similar clothing to DEVO
Miami Vice core is your best bet.
I kind of like the 90's but it's not really vapor: it relies too heavily on weird color mixes like yellows, orange or green. 90's fashion mostly looks kinda tasteless desu.
Vapor on the other hand incorporates more pink, mint green, cyan, teal and pastels. Whites, and shades of black can work too. In fact you don't always need color as demonstrated in pic; but there needs to be contrast so no monochrome. Large grid pattern are pretty vapor desu
HKE is a viral samefag piece of shit. Don't support him in any fashion.

Elaborate. I think there are better producers in the genre but 2 8 1 4 was pretty good.
Business casual
Business formal
90s mallcore
Beachwear/vacation
Retro anime shit
Become a walking 90s corporate billboard
Just like how the source material was varied you can take the concept in a lot of different directions.

He used to constantly post this album and praise it while pretending it wasn't him - typical viral fuckery. Then he was in an interview were he said he was a founder of vaporwave (he wasn't) and rambled off on all this ridiculous pretentious bullshit.

If I would have to translate the music into clothes it would be synthetic fabrics, loose/extended cuts and printed patterns.
Maybe an experimental mix of lunarcore with streetwear. Maybe an ironic version of streetwear that tries to break the boundaries of coolness.
