I have a similar problem having many jackets. I feel like I have to cycle them.
Never had this problem when I wore suits and coats. Felt more like a uniform I guess, plus it was all bespoke, so I knew it looked great. Anyone who tastes besopke or good m2m will want to go back IMO.

I've worn the same jacket for 3 years now. It's a beautiful jacket. Does anyone care? No. Nobody gives a fuck. I look great in it and people think indifferently, they think "oh look a person" and then i'm in and out of their life just like that.
You will notice that a lot in life in general, young school man. People come, people go, you have little to no impact on most people you meet, especially your clothing (except to a few key people who actually care about how they look).
Do you want my advice? Lady fortune brings good fortune just as often as bad. You are asking too much if you think you or your loved ones will live another decade, year, month, even day. Hell, I don't expect to last more than another ten minutes (enough time to finish my fish sticks and broccoli, you never know). You should live with the same expectation; memento mori, my friend.
