what is /fa/s position on r/malefashion? I see mfa shit on daily but malefashion seems a little better. discussion of shows/decent fits/etc

v. cool
,
not
I mean isn't the point of r/mfa to help pull guys out of the American classic blue jean and t-shirt core to something slightly more refined, even if that style is, in the fashionable community, laughable and meme-esque? It never really claims the advice and uniform are "fashion forward" or even really good. Just slightly more respectable. Idk I'm a poor sperg and honestly khakis and a Oxford under a decent sweater with good color coordination makes me look at least as good as anyone else. Just learning not to wear a white or blue button up instead of one thats bright purple or red made me look a lot better. It's just a stepping stone in the learning process, or a final destination for normal dudes who really don't give a fuck. I envy them. Usually just looking decent is better than trying hard.

r/malefashion is a different entity than mfa, it's more designer based.

LMAO
Pulling off a poncho is not going to happen, even if you go full slp and look exactly like their models wearing ponchos... it is still too awkward for males in real life. I have seen women pull it off perfectly tho
