I haven't gave a shit about my hair in 19 years, It has always been shoulder/back length. And I've noticed that not really caring for it has destroyed my hair, my edges are weird and thin. My edges take up a lot of my forehead, its similar to Brittany Sky. So I'm trying to grow it out a bit more, using JBCO.
I also got some funky bangs that I cut for my cuzzos wedding that I need to grow out.
This is my routine

I use this weird almond oil I got from this arabic shop, and water to moisten my hair. I need to get me some lotion for my hair though, cause oil ain't enough. Any suggestions? I'm looking at Oyin hair dew or that generic pink lotion I use to use on my hair as a kid. When I was a youngin my hair looked shiny and nice as fuck, not it looks like hay :(

i pull down on all directions, some may do it differently. its like in grade school where you run scissors down a piece of paper to make it coily. eventually your hair will train and take form
matted hair when you wake up happens to all of us man, if youre too lazy to hop in the shower in the morning sleep with your hands under your head so your hair doesnt touch the pillow. when that happens ill just throw a hat on so the hair at the top falls to the sides and i look gr8
also hair tip i read, after you shower throw that shit in a pony tail and then sleep however you want. take it out when you wake up and you get hella volume and the look still holds
